The Parish Council is the third tier of local government, after Kent County Council and Canterbury City Council

Meetings are held on the second Thursday of each month (except August) at 7.30pm in the Village Hall (December is at 7pm)

Planning Committee meetings are held 15 minutes before the Parish Council meeting

Extra Parish Council Meeting

There will be Extraordinary meeting of Bridge Parish Council at Bridge Village Hall, on Thursday 24th October 2024 at 7.30pm.

  3. To acknowledge the recommendation from the New Village Hall and Carpark Working Group and vote on which quotation to accept for appointing an architect to design the new village hall and carpark.

Announcement
Following the resignation of Hazel Chowcat, Helen Moore and Tim Spencer, Bridge Parish Council now has three casual vacancies to fill.

The new councillors will be Co-opted on 14th November 2024.

This is an exciting time to become a Councillor for the Parish as you will help to implement the 'made' Neighbourhood Plan and be involved in the creation of our new village hall. If you or someone you know would like to be considered for the position please contact the Clerk for further information or to request an application form.

Application forms need to be returned to the Clerk by 2.30 pm on Friday 8th November.
